Answer to a question if guys preferred

There was this person on an online community asking questions if guys preferred blondes or brunettes.

Below is my take on the person's question:

The answer to this depends on the location of the guy and how he perceives who is more appealing to his eye. If there is a beautiful blonde in a location dominant with dark colored hair (Philippines), then blondes would be more appealing to the men. If there was a beautiful brunette in a land dominated primarily by blonde women (Norway or Sweden), then obviously brunettes would be very appealing to the general male public.

Basically, that which is rarely seen live provides curiousity and if beautiful is very pleasant to look at and very appealing to the eyes.

Answering a girl who kept thinking of running away

There was this girl who kept thinking about running away.

It's always disturbing when people have not thought out completely how they will tackle life after running away. If the preparation is complete financially then feel free to do so. If not, then you have to look in the mirror and have a reality check.

This is my answer to her post:

Ah the running away thread. Think this first before initiating any action from your part of from any other girls' part. If you will run away and you have millions and responsible in spending, then by all means do what you want.

BUT !

If you have no means of money. No work, no income. Not finished with school. Nowhere to live ( Remember relatives will be upset with you for running away, and you will overstay your welcome if you stay with friends). Then you SHOULD NOT RUN AWAY! I am sure you are aware of the hardship people are encountering in the Philippines. Prices going up every so often, how can you afford without a good paying job, an apartment to rent, food to eat everyday, phone bill, electric bill, water bill and other utility bills, going out with friends expense, miscellaneous expense, and shopping expenses, etc etc etc.

Prostitution is rampant in the Philippines. Clubs employing girls dancing are a lot also. And guess what many of them are? RUNAWAYS.

So this is a message to all DO NOT RUN AWAY!

Stay in school. Stay home. Your parents love you. Otherwise they will not shelter you or send you to school. The fact you can go online unlike the other 60 million people in the Philippines is a testament to your parents loving you and making sure you become well educated.

This is just an opinion.

Have a good weekend to all.

Answer to question about "If it was okay for girls to be maarte"

Here is another one where [name] asks if it was okay if girls are maarte.

I posted this answer:

[Name]

Hi. In response to what you posted regarding "Maarte Girls", it depends. When you say maarte I take it you meant, girls that are constantly fixing their hair, looking in the mirror, and fixing their make-up and lipstick or lip gloss right?

If this is the case, then it is just okay. There are girls that are like that, and usually they are the very outgoing type. Actually I had several friends who were really pretty but saw themselves as not pretty unless they are always well made meaning they keep looking good throughout the day.

In reality like the majority of posters in this thread, it is natural for girls to be maarte. Guys are understanding when girls are maarte as long as the girl is pretty or cute or good to look at. If the girl is maarte and not cute, not pretty, not good to look at (this includes too much make up that makes them look like a witch) then it is not alright. In fact there are guys in the school or a lot outside the school who are alaskadors who will not hesitate to say what's on their mind and usually it is kind of mean.

Now some posters on this thread mentioned "Malandi" I cannot comment on that because "Malandi" can be defined differently by all people.

Also in regards to "Girls na Maarte", this could also be in reference to girls on a date or out with friends being picky with food. On a guy's point of view it is okay. But when the guy eats a hefty meal that is usual for him, and the girl only eats a little because she is maarte, the guy will understand as long as the girl does not comment on why the guy has to order and eat a lot. This is a big turn off for guys because the girl is too maarte. She should just eat regularly or less if she wants but not comment on other people's meal or food intake. But of course the guy will not say anything condescending to her.

Just an opinion.

My Answer to [username] Who Hated Her Dad

In one of the online communities, I came across [username] and she posted:

i really really hate my dad coz he is really really horrible to us........
i hate u dad so much........................
why you can just leave us alone...................

Now I posted an answer to her thread, which was like below:

I've read the answers on this thread, and the question is why do young ones hate their dads so much?

In the Philippines because it is a "MACHO CULTURE" I have seen since I was a kid up to now that Dads tend to be controlling, or wanting to be in command of the family. He needs to feel that he is in charge and what he says goes. The rules by the Dad are like The Ten Commandments.

Unfortunately, when I was younger they did not have this preventive laws like they have on child abuse. I find that Philippine fathers tend to have a heavy set of hands. Sometimes too much. However, they don't hit their daughters as much as they do their sons. They beat the crap out of their sons until the son gets big enough and can tell his Dad "Enough is enough!"

As for Dads being strict on rules on their daughters it's because they are men and they think like boys and men. They know about hidden agendas and the like. Plus it's for the daughters own protection why they are very strict. I'm sure Dads don't want anything happening to their daughters and wants them to have a good life. A lot of students don't get to finish school and find life harder than if they have finished. This is not always true though. But a good dad always puts education as very important.

If you have a problem with your dad as long as it is not concerning about beatings...have a talk with your dad. I am sure you'll understand as he explains to you why he is so strict.

I mean would you rather have a Dad who has no concern over you. Let's you come home in the morning and does not even care if you are mugged or even experience something bad because your dad did not impose rules? That would be a jerk of a dad. And unfortunately, a lot of students don't get to finish school because they end up with a family, because the Dad wasn't strict enough.

But that is life.

Types of People that make up the Tropas or Barkadas

In my high school tropa I was equal with them. In my college tropa I was one of the leaders. I have since never seen my high school or college tropa.

In tropas I have seen these kinds of people (at least in guy tropas):

Supremo - The leader. Because of age or just because respected or he'll kick your a..
Idol - Usually the guy that's looked up upon by the younger tropas. Becuase he's cool or plays guitar or drives a cool car. Or doesn't get drunk.
Masters - Heto yung mga soabe na guys yung magaling sa "Da Moobs." The babaeros of the group.
Galante - These are the guys who shells out the cash for those who doesn't pay during gimiks. Sometimes and a lot of times the Linta's leech off these guys.
Linta - These are the guys who freeloads off the other guys. Always wanting "in" on the gimik pero never shells out cash. Heto yung mga users aka "Manggagamit".
Joker - These are the guys that bring life to the group. Meaning sasakit ang sikmura dahil sa katatawa sa kanila.
Basaguleros - These are the guys that just wants to start problems. Parang doon lang sila maso-solb pag nagka problema at away sa ibang grupo or people.
Average Joe - The usual guys who just likes to hang out with the tropa.

Please comment. Oh by the way girls please share what people comprise your tropas or what you see comprises tropas you have seen.
